Riftbound Rarities
Every Riftbound card is printed at a rarity that signals how often you pull it from boosters. This is the full rarity ladder — what each rarity means, how many printings we track at it, and a link to its complete card list. The headline chase rarity is Showcase: full-art and special-frame printings — alternate arts, overnumbered Legends, and star-numbered Signature cards — that are usually a set's most valuable pulls.
All Riftbound rarities
| Rarity | What it means | Printings |
|---|---|---|
| Common | The base rarity — the bulk of every booster set and the everyday pool decks are built from. | 214 |
| Uncommon | A small step up from Common; still pulled frequently from booster packs. | 213 |
| Rare | Pulled less often than Uncommons; many playable staples sit at this rarity. | 213 |
| Epic | The top of a set's standard rarity ladder within the base numbering — the headline cards of each set. | 124 |
| Showcase | The chase rarity: full-art and special-frame printings, including alternate arts, overnumbered Legends, and star-numbered Signature cards — usually a set's most valuable pulls. | 181 |
| Promo | Promotional printings from events and organized play — outside the booster rarity ladder. | 119 |
Counts are printings per rarity across 1,064 printings in our database — Showcase printings are special versions of cards that also exist at a base rarity.
Showcase: the chase rarity
Showcase covers Riftbound's premium printings: full-art alternate arts that share the base card's number with an “a” suffix, overnumbered Legends whose collector numbers run past the set's printed total, and Signature cards marked with a star after the number (for example UNL-237*). Because each Showcase printing has its own price — often far above the base card — every price on this site names the exact printing it belongs to. See the Showcase card list ranked by price, or the Showcase cards guide for the full breakdown.
