Riftbound Showcase Cards

Showcase is Riftbound's chase rarity: full-art and special-frame printings of cards that already exist in the set at a lower rarity. Mechanically a Showcase printing plays identically to its base version — the premium is entirely about scarcity and the treatment. Because each Showcase printing has its own market price, every figure on this site names the exact printing it belongs to.

The three kinds of Showcase printing

• Alternate arts share the base card's collector number with an “a” suffix — e.g. UNL-060a is the alternate-art Showcase printing of UNL-060.
• Overnumbered Legends carry collector numbers that exceed the set's printed total— e.g. a card numbered 299 in a “298-card” set is an overnumbered Showcase printing.
• Signature printings are star-numbered — e.g. UNL-237* — and sit at the very top of the chase ladder; they account for most of the priciest pullable Riftbound cards.

Why Showcase prices spread so widely

Champion demand does most of the work: marquee League of Legends champions hold value while less iconic Showcase cards from the same set settle far lower. The printing style matters too — within the same card, a Signature printing typically prices far above the overnumbered or alternate-art version. And because Showcase printings are foils, condition is unforgiving; even light edge wear separates a card from near-mint listings.
